How much would the implants be and would they completely replace your current dentures with implanted teeth? If I remember correctly just a single row of dentures was quoted to be around 12k.
I'm pretty sure I could still get them on bottom, but my upper gumline has shrank so much I don't think they could be put it now. I don't think I quite understand, dating a guy with dentures, what implants are.

Plus, waiting longer might have meant you'd have been older and able to afford the implants. And I'm sure you would have thought of this, so was your decision ultimately made based on like the amount of pain you were experiencing in your teeth? Yeah pain was pretty bad when it flared up, and my teeth were getting to the point where I couldn't imagine dentures making me more self conscious than my actual teeth were.
So it seemed like there really wasn't much to lose. I sorta felt if I got it done then all the problems would go away and everything would just be normal. I was pretty set on that in my head, and I just wanted to get it all done instead of waiting to save up for implants. It would've taken me years and there's no telling how fucked my mouth would've looked by that point or how much worse the pain would've gotten or if my bad teeth would begin to take a serious toll on overall health.
In regards to your romantic issues you said somewhere in here that you haven't really tried anything like that since getting the denturesI think if you're just honest about it with the right girl, she won't have a problem with it.

One worked alright but was crazy expensive so I stopped taking it. I stay away from over the counter stuff especially, because they seem to help for an hour and then it comes back worse than it was before I took anything. Yeah, the couple of times I had heartburn and tried an OTC med, it didn't work.
I'm glad I don't get acid reflux regularly! Yeah I've changed my diet and cut out a lot of acidic foods, which has helped a good bit. But a lot of my reflux seems to be worsened by stress and I haven't figured out much for that. I just wanted to let you know you're not alone. Nah doesn't sound like me. It's pretty cool to hear though. I've never heard of someone else getting them this young. It's definitely more of a hassle to clean the dentures. I have to make sure I don't use certain toothpastes whitening kind and sometimes I have to take them out to soak overnight.

Well there's still some from other things, but no cavity pain which is among the worst pain I've felt before. I don't know how that's possible but it happens, but it's always mild and shortlived.
